User Accounts and Eligibility

To use TapTrust, you must create an account through our authentication provider. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use TapTrust. By using our service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

We use third-party payment processors (Autumn) to handle billing. Your payment information is processed securely and is not stored on our servers.

Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our support team for refund requests.

Billing Changes

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect existing subscriptions until renewal.

Intellectual Property

Service Ownership

TapTrust and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TapTrust and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create through conversations with AI assistants. However, by using TapTrust, you grant us a limited license to store and process your encrypted data as necessary to provide the service.

AI-Generated Content

Content generated by AI assistants through TapTrust is provided for your personal use. You are responsible for ensuring your use of such content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on third-party rights.

Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide continuous service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue features of the service
  • Update these terms with reasonable notice
  • Restrict access to certain features or the entire service
  • Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect service availability

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Service "As Is"

TapTrust is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

AI Content Disclaimer

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, biases, or inappropriate material. You should not rely on AI responses for critical decisions, legal advice, medical information, or other situations requiring professional expertise.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TapTrust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

  • Your access to the service will cease immediately
  • We will delete your encrypted data as per our data retention policies
  • Outstanding payment obligations will remain due
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
